Abstract

|
The term "Horner¢¥s syndrome" is sympathetic ophthalmoplegia in brief with the characteristic symptoms of unilateral miosis, ptosis, mild enophthalmos and abscence of sweating on the ipsilateral face and neck
It may present various degree and combinations according to the extent and the site of the damage to the sympathetic pathway.
The otolaryngologists are not so familiar to this syndrome in the E.N.T. clinic however appearing in the diseases of ear, larynx and esophagus, and in injuries, as complications.
Authors have recently experienced a 33-year-old male with laryngeal injury causing ¢¥Horner¢¥s syndrome.
